문의하신 south thames college는 국립컬리지중에 하나로써, 실리를 추구하는 영리단체라기 보다는
교육의 장을 넒히기 위한 교육기관으로 보시면 무방합니다.
그러기에 다른 대학부설에 비하면 학비가 월등이 저렴한 것이구요.
저렴한 학비로 인해, 경제적인 연수를 고려하시는 분들이 많이 선택하게 되는 학교이기도 합니다.
런던에는 저렴한 학교들이 생각 이상으로 많습니다.
물론 학비가 비싸다고 다 좋은 학교는 아닙니다만,
같은 학비대에서는 티칭퀄리티, 학교시설 등에 있어서는 학생들의 만족도가 높은 편이지요.
그러나 단점도 존재합니다.
알고 계시는 것처럼 학비가 저렴하기에 그만큼 많은 분들이 선택하시게 되구요.
한 반 인원수가 다른 사설학교에 비하면 상당히 많은 편입니다.
보통의 사설학교들은 한 반 정원이 12-15명이 일반적입니다.
그러나 south thames college는 평균 한 반 정원이 18-22명 사이로
초기 어학공부에 있어서는 다소 불만어린 얘기가 없지 않은 학교라 하겠습니다.
계획하시는 내용을 보면, 사설학교에서 6개월을 공부하시고
추후 south thames college로 옮기실 예정이신데요.
계획면에 있어서는 나쁘지 않을 것으로 보입니다.
다만, 3월부터 달라지는 비자법에 의하면.....
아직 확실히 정해진 것은 아니지만, 이미 어느정도 언급이 된 부분인데요.
두 학교를 등록하실 경우, 지금까지는 두 학교 기간에 해당되는 기간만큼 비자를 받으셨습니다만,
앞으로는 두 학교를 등록하실 경우, 앞의 첫 학교만 비자가 나올 예정으로 있습니다.
언제 출국하실 계획이신지는 모르겠습니다만, 이러한 비자법도 미리 인지하시어
학교를 결정하시면 어떨까 싶네요.

Helping students to find a part-time job
Finding a part time job quickly after arrival in London can be tricky and demanding for students. That's why STCL has introduced a part time job placement service with its partner agency. abe diploma in business management
This course allows students to broaden their knowledge in business management. It is an ideal level for people who are already in the sector and seeking progression. We offer an optional work placement for this course. Fee: ?,150 (without work placement), ?,650 (with work placement).
postgraduate diploma in management studies
The DMS covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the management sector. Holders of an Diploma can progress to an MBA. The programme comes with an optional work placement. Fee ?,450 (without work placement), ?,950 (with work placement).
english courses
Our General, Business & Academic English courses are organised in terms. Students can prepare for Cambridge Certificate Exams or take the IELTS. After English studies students can progress into Further & Higher Education at STCL. Contact us, we can give you more information on customised study options.

A group of delegates from the Middle East, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, visited South Thames College on 15 January 2009 as part of their BETT study tour organised by the British Council and the College’s International Office. BETT is the world’s largest educational technology fair. The visit was hosted by Gail Walker, Director of Vocational Development, and Sarah Horrell, Director of Marketing and Business Development.
The delegates were mainly interested in IC technology STC uses to support the learning process. In addition to a presentation from Raja Habib, ICT Manager, the visitors got the opportunity to observe lessons in Music Technology, Construction, Plumbing as well as Bricklaying.
