올해 가을학기에 Southampton에 입학하시는 분들에게 참고가 되는 자료라서 올립니다.

9월 20~22일 사이 지정해 놓은 시간대에 히드로 공항에서 무료 픽업서비스를 실시하오니 참고하시기 바랍니다.

To ensure the smoothest arrival at Southampton
for new international and European students (excluding visiting/Erasmus
exchange students), we run a free of charge Meet and Greet service from London
Heathrow airport (Terminal 3) before the start of the academic year and the
Welcome Programme.

Eligible international and European students will
be met by university representatives at London
HeathrowAirport
(Terminal 3) on:

Monday 20^th September
2010

Tuesday 21^st
September 2010

Wednesday 22^nd
September 2010

The coaches will be collecting students at:

1000hrs, 1400hrs, 1800hrs,
2200hrs

The deadline for applying to the Meet and Greet/
Welcome programme is the 1^st September 2010.

Before applying for Meet and Greet:

1. Please note that to apply for this programme you will need
to have received a conditional or unconditional offer from the University
of Southampton.

2. You
will need to have booked your flights to London Heathrow.

3 Please note that the deadline for University accommodation
applications has passed so you will need to make alternative arrangements for
the welcome week if you have not applied for term time accommodation. Please
see the below website for details of private rented accommodation:

Along
side the International Student Welcome we run a ‘Parents & Partners
Welcome’ for families of international students wanting to find out more
about the University of Southampton,
Southampton as a City and meet other
international people new to the city.

This
event will be hosted by the International Office and will take place on the
Thursday 23^rd September 10:00
12:00 in the Senate Room, Room 4049, Building 37, Highfield Campus.

If
your parents or partner would like to attend this event please email welcome@soton.ac.uk
with details of their name. Please also feel free to indicate anything of
particular interest your parent or partner would like to know more information
about so that we can get an idea of what to tell them on the day.

Please make sure you apply for your student ID card
as soon as possible. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the
following website:

You must ensure that you return your ID application
form to arrive by the application deadline for your course. Failure to
complete your application on time will
result in a delay of 14 days for your card to be produced and delivered to
