Eusu Logistics, having global operating offices in 39 cities of 21 countries around the world, provides our valuable customers with complex distribution service that meets various logistics demands of Shippers in contract logistics business such as freight forwarding, warehousing, trucking, LCL's and buyer’s consolidation. With about 1,000 logistics professionals around the world, Eusu Logistics aims at becoming the best reliable global SCM service provider with responsibilities of growing together with our valuable customers.
In our office in Ipswich we have a vacancy in the W&D/CS department.
We are looking for a candidate with the following roles and responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities:
• Preparing sea & ocean freight price quotations - informing about the freight prices, port charges, cost of special documents, insurance prices as well as prices for handling the goods.
• End-to-end quotation, booking and customs of pricing and shipment to ensure customers and agents receive the best possible rate.
• Handling order traces, processing pre-alerts and invoicing of all on-board cargo.
• Organising ocean freight transport solution through third party transit means such as agencies and shipping lines.
• Working within a variety of incoterms such as Exwork, DAP, DPP etc
Required Qualification:
• Preferred ideally 1 to 3 years freight forward/W&D experience.(New employees can apply)
• Proficiency with Ocean FCL, LCL, W&D
• Experience dealing with both suppliers and customers, whilst also being able to work to deadlines.
• Show excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills with suppliers and customers
• Able to work alone and as part of a team
• Proficient in excel and has a keen eye for data inputting
• Team player
• Warehousing and distribution
• Experience in a fast pace office environment
