Clinical Scientist at Kernel Biolabs LTD.
Position Title: Clinical Scientist
Salary: Negotiable
Job Type: Freelance Contract
Start date: Immediate
Kernel Biolabs is a young and innovative start-up company specialising in genetics and diagnostics based in Edgware. We are currently in the process of ascertaining UKAS accreditation and CQC certification. We have a human-centred approach, with our spacious and fully equipped lab.
The Role
The Clinical Scientist is responsible for providing clinical leadership and policy direction; maintain accepted standards of medical practice throughout the facility. The post holder must be able to apply the latest scientific knowledge coupled with the most up to date scientific methods.
The post-holder will provide leadership and assistance in;
• Ensuring continuity of service and compliance with working time regulations
• Support verification and validation activities
• Provide clinical input during product development and failure investigations
• Assist the laboratory by providing input during risk management assessment process which includes product safety and usability from clinical perspective
Knowledge, Training and Experience
• The post holder will be clinically qualified and appropriately registered with evidence of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Excellent communication skills and evidence of problem solving/solution finding traits;
• Evidence of Continuing Personal and Professional Development;
• A high level of interpersonal, strategic and technical skills combined with a supportive and visible leadership style.
