ABOUT THE ROLE
You will provide management accounting with an accurate and timely manner in the London office as well as providing a monthly update on the company account to the parent company in South Korea. You will need to be a capable Management Accountant with previous experience producing the full packs. You should also have a hard-working attitude and be able to deal with change.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Monthly management accounts and reporting to Korea.
-Bank reconciliation
-Posting of journals during month-end
-Responsible for Profit & loss, TB, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting
-Year-End accounts, preparation for the audit
-Balance sheet reconciliations, investigating any anomalies
-Accrual and prepayment management
-Fixed asset management
-Quarterly VAT return preparation
-Monthly payroll process including pension, holiday and expenses
-Ensuring all financial controls are tight and reporting is maintained within a strict deadline.
-Perform office administrative duties with good interpersonal skills
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
-Minimum 2 years of work experience preferred
-Management of Accounting experience
-Experience in working within the retail sector is a bonus
-Solid understanding of double-entry and bookkeeping
-Experience of using accounting software, in particular, Xero but not essential.
-Knowledge of Amazon Marketplace is a bonus
DESIRED SKILLS
-Speaking and writing in Korean is a must
-Part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent) or actively studying toward a qualification
-Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
-Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
-Strong Excel skills
-Can-do Attitude
ELIGIBILITY
Who can legally work in the UK (We don’t offer work visa)
SALARY
-Permanent: up to £35K (depending on experience)
-Part-time: per day rate, negotiable
CONTRACT
-Permanent (with a 3months trial period, full salary)
-Part-time (minimum 3days a week)
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 17.30
