Job Vacancy - School-based Café All-Rounder
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Café All-Rounder to join our small team in a school-based café.
Unlike typical cafés, our team provides breakfast service for residence students, fresh coffee and sandwiches
in the morning, and hot lunch meals during midday. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that includes both
barista and light cooking responsibilities.
Job Details- Position: Café All-Rounder (part time)- Location: [Insert school/campus name or general area]- Hours: 20 hours/week, Monday - Friday only(3days), approx. 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM (some flexibility required)- Pay: £13.50 per hour- Holiday: 28 days paid annual leave ( full time-including bank holidays)
Main Responsibilities- Prepare and serve breakfast for residence students (light cooking involved)- Make and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages- Prepare sandwiches. Cook and serve simple hot lunch meals- Handle the till, take orders, and provide friendly customer service- Keep the café clean and tidy throughout the day
What We're Looking For- Previous café, catering, or kitchen experience- Comfortable with both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks- Able to work in a fast-paced morning environment- Positive attitude and good communication skills - especially with students- Reliability and good timekeeping are essential
Desirable (but essential)-café- Barista skills, 2 x previous job reference
