Overview
We're currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Worker.
In this important role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly through efficient handling of goods and maintaining an organised workspace. This position requires someone who is proactive and can manage various responsibilities, from inventory management to administrative tasks.
This position offers a monthly after-tax salary of £2,000, with working hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., which includes a lunch break. You'll also be entitled to 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays each year.
Please note that there will be a probation period for the first three months.
Salary
£2,000 per Month (After Tax)
Working Days / Hours
Tuesdays - Saturdays ( 7a.m. till 4 P.m. - Including Lunch Time)
Annual Holiday Entitlement
20 Days + Bank Holidays per Year
Responsibilities
* Receiving, inspecting, and organising incoming goods and materials, which may involve some heavy lifting.
* Completing Health & Safety & Hygiene Reports (HACCP/SALSA).
* Maintaining accurate inventory records through data entry and general office tasks.
* Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Preparing additional orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely readiness.
* Conducting daily stocktaking and inventory audits as needed.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
* Utilising computer systems, including SAGE and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for administrative duties.
* Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Working independently from approximately 10 or 11 am onwards and ensuring the premises are securely locked at the end of the day, including responsibility for the company key.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a warehouse or a similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Competence in administrative tasks, including data entry and general office duties.
* Familiarity with SAGE and other office software is a plus.
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
