JANG &Engel is a 1920s-style speakeasy bar set up on the mezzanine of The Royal Exchange, a Grade I Listed London landmark, moments from Bank station.
Afternoon Tea is served overlooking the Royal Exchange’s spectacular courtyard, seated on velvet armchairs or plush banquettes, surrounded by murals depicting moments from English history.
The tea is prepared by acclaimed pastry chef Lorena Tommasi who has previously worked with the legendary Claude Bosi and uses her Sicilian flair for flavour alongside classic French patisserie technique. The tea includes delicate, seasonal sweet treats, fluffy freshly-baked scones and flavourful open sandwiches, served alongside Jing Teas, English Sparkling Wine or Champagne.
